Wrong Direction

During my first soccer game of the season, I was really eager to make a great impression. It was my first time playing a sport on a school team and I was hoping that playing well would help get me some attention. During the second half of the game, our coach switched me from defense to offense. I stole the ball and had a clear break away to the goal! I turned around jumping thinking my teammates would be just as excited but they all just looked really mad...I had scored on the wrong goal and given the other team a point! I definitely got that attention I wanted. The next day in class everyone was laughing at me.
