Makeup Massacre

I got a solo in one of my school's choir recitals and I was really excited! The theme that we chose for the recital was the 50s. They dressed us up in these cool retro dresses and gave us a bunch of props to work with. My props were a compact mirror and an eyeliner pencil. I was supposed to pretend to put on the eyeliner and then sing my song. On opening night, I was so nervous that I couldn't get my hand to stop shaking! The eyeliner slipped and poked me right in the eye. It hurt so much that I started crying on stage. I had to perform the song right after it too! I sounded terrible - it was so embarrassing!
