I really wanted to turn my brunette locks into blonde ones for the summer. After a lot of convincing, my mom finally picked up a home bleaching kit from the pharmacy. It was a dye kit that turned brown hair into medium blonde hair. I invited my friend over so that I wouldn't have to do it alone -- I was scared! The dye seemed to be working but I couldn't quite tell because my hair was covered in the paste. Once we began to wash it out, I came to a horrific discovery. My brown hair had turned completely orange! If that wasn't bad enough, I couldn't dye it back in time for school the next day because it would have damaged my hair! It was awful!
