Shoe blues

I found the perfect pair of super cute and comfy ballet flats, and I liked them so much that I bought two pairs. I got brown ones to wear to school and black ones to match my uniform at my new after-school job. But one day, I was sitting in first period and looked down to see that I was wearing a black shoe and a brown shoe! I was in a hurry that morning and must have gotten dressed in the dark. And that day, I happened to be giving a speech in front of the whole school! Everyone noticed and kept asking why my shoes didn't match. Maybe they thought I was setting a new fashion trend. But I was so embarrassed!
