It's almost time to kiss 2011 goodbye forever, but before we do, M is recapping all the stars and stories that made the last 12 months memorable! Every day in December, we'll ask YOU to vote on the Best of the Year -- from movies, music, fashion trends and more.
Today's topic is "Best Comeback" and our two nominees also happen to be exes! First up, we have Demi Lovato, who started her year in a treatment center where she was recovering from emotional issues. Demi took a hard sitch and turned her entire life around -- in just 12 short months she reconnected with friends, debuted her chart-topping single "Skyscraper", watched her hit album Unbroken climb the charts, and has never looked better!
Our other nominees is Joe Jonas, who had to reinvent himself in 2011 for different reasons. This was the first year of Joe's solo career, and he traveled the world promoting his album See No More without his bros. To top it off, he totally switched up his music, replacing JoBro pop with a more upbeat, dance sound.
