My family and I were on vacation in New York City. It was my first time going to the city and I was psyched! We were riding on the subway and the car was so packed we couldn't get any seats. My mom warned me to hold onto one of the poles for standing passengers, and I grabbed onto it as the subway started. I didn't think I needed to hold on as the car was moving, so I let go. Next thing I knew, the subway came to a stop and I went flying! I crashed into a bunch of people and fell flat on my face!
