Growing up, I used to live in Queens, NY. When my sister and I were 10, we went over to a friend's house. We used to like telling each other scary stories, so when it was my friend's turn, she told us about Bloody Mary. The legend goes that you have to stand in front of a mirror, in a dark room, and say her name three times and she will appear to you. So we tried it! We got so scared afterwards that we refused to go over again fearing that Bloody Mary was waiting for us.
