Hey M Girls!
We have a BRAND NEW spin on the daily advice column on mmm-mag.com. Each day at 8:00 PM/EST we'll post a reader question and have our M Girl answer it!! Today, we're talking patching up your friendship with your BFF!!
M Reader cocorockz11 asked:
My best friend and I are in a fight over one little thing that doesn't even make sense. She over reacted because I said something that was meant to be funny (and it wasn't even about her). She got all mad at me and started calling me names. I try to make up with her but she just blows be off and gets me SO mad again! What do I do?
And M Girl's answer is:
"Sometimes you have to figure out a different way to approach certain people with situations like this. Maybe the way you try to talk to her makes her frustrated and blow up. You should probably sit her down and start with telling her how much you value your friendship and how you don't like arguing with her. Maybe then you could figure out the best ways to patch up your relationship. If you guys are truly friends, you'll find a way to work it out -- I know you will!"

That has happened to me before. It is hard but sometimes it takes time. Just wait a while and then maybe right her a very heart felt letter and try to get her to listen . If you guys were really best friends than she will realize how much she misses you and forgive you. Hope i helped!
Depends what joke you said!! Sometimes you need to think before you act overlook that joke and think about what dissapointed her!
good advice
i like lovelyme702's answer about giving her a letter, or I would suggest and e-mail or text message. I also like soccagirl8's advice because it does depend on what the joke said. Maybe it was about another one of her friends?
yeah i also had the same problem, when i was in the 5th grade i had a friend that turned against me for no reason at all while we were in class i give her a note saying if we were friends or not she circled no were not friends but her little brother was still friends with me intill his sister told him how i would say mean stuff to everyone but now tell me this little thing if you came to my school and you would meet me would you turn against me after a week of being friends or not?
