Simon Cowell confirmed that he's quitting American Idol after this upcoming season comes to an end! Sources say Simon is leaving the show to be a judge and executive producer on FOX's upcoming show, X Factor (an American version of the popular British talent Show)!

Yes I will miss Simon! Some think he is mean and rude. But, sometimes he is the only one not embarrassed to speak the truth. He will be awesome on n e show but, 2 judges down 1 to go!!!
there is no way that it will be the same without him...and now that paula's gone too...randy might as well quit....its not even american idol without them:(

no he shouldnt go. the show wont b the same without him. i know some people who watch the show just because they want to hear what simon has to say. he also makes some parts of the show funny because of his comments on peoples voices. dont go simon!

American Idol was so great with Simon, Paula, and Randy because they all had different sides in singing. Simon was strict, which made the show really interesting, Paula was nice, which gave the Idols a smile, and Randy was kool, Yo Dawg! lol. American Idol wont be the same without Simon!! :(
i hpw they are going to get another judje because then they will have the same amount of judges.

I'm glad that he is leaving Idol because, he is so mean and if you sang for him he would insoulte you if you think that you have a good voice. I HATE him God.

The x factor: Iys just done its 6th seires.And No Susen Boyle didnt from from the x factor,she came from Britains got talent! Anyway,the x factor is a singing talent show and to be honest,its better then american idol.The judges on it are Simon Cowell,Cheryl Cole( the girl on will.i.ams song heartbreaker and known as Britains sweetheart) Dannii Minogoe( Kylie Minogoes sister and is from Austraila) And Louis Walsh(Who is Irish like me)Its to find a singer from Britain and Ireland and the winner gets a single out for christmas and 4 out of 6 got uk no.1 for christmas.They also get signed to a record company and releases a album.LEONA LEWIS WON seires 4.IM IRISH AND I LOVE IT! ITS A IRISH AND ENGLISH SHOW.ITS WAY BETTER THEN AMERICAN IDOL.sorryand hope that info helps u! And also its reported that only Simon and CHERYL COLE will be the only judges from the english version to be a judge on america.Simon really wants to makw CHERYL COLE a star in u.s.a!

okay I love American Idol, but this is not going to be the same. As it is Paula already left now Simon. It will be totally different. Sometimes he is the only one that tells the truth.

i think that the show will not be the same. i think that the show was more interesting to watch because of having simon on it. now there will probably be less views. im not trying to put a curse on the show...wishing all best to american idol but its a difference.

No,the show will ABSOLUTELY NOT be the same without Simon. Simon to me, is the judge that really knows what he is doing, judging wise. he will REALLY be missed by a lot of people.:( ;[
American idol is really not all the same bcuz paula is gone...then Simon will be gone...and as to my knowledge Ellen knows nothing about judging people music wise..... :(;[ ....they mine as well get all new judges
