"My mom is really strict, so whenever my friends make plans on the weekends I usually am not allowed to go. One Friday my friends decided to go to the mall to go shopping for the dance on Saturday. I begged my mom to let me go and she finally gave in as long as she could wait in the food court for me. I just had to go so I agreed that she could come. When we got there all my friends and I met up and were having a great time. But when we walked past the food court my mom stood up, yelled my name, and started waving to me across the entire room! All my friends started laughing, but I was so embarrassed I could barely wave back!"
