I've been feeling down for a while and I don't know what to do about it. I want to be one of the happy and cheerful girls. How can I feel better about things I deal with in my life?
And Ciara's answer is:
"If something gets me down, I remind myself that life doesn't always go the way you want it to. So I live every day as it comes. It doesn't take that much to get me upset and when I do, I may cry it out. I think that crying is definitely something good. If you do it once in a while, it helps you release stress. I think it can be healthy. It isn't a sign of weakness if you cry -- just not every day! I also love listening to music when I'm upset. It also helped to talk to someone about what's bothering you. If I don't have anyone to talk to, I talk to myself! I just figure out how I'm going to fix what's bothering me and how I'm going to feel better about it. I just say, 'OK. I'm feeling down. Now what can I do to make things better?"
