Why does Kristen think the Twilight series is so popular? "I think it's because it is much more than a vampire story. The whole world can compare with the characters in one way or another. OK, they are vampires and werewolves, but they are basically characters. They have human feelings. After all, it's a love story. Assigned to the most extreme possible, but it is a love story. We use the plot as a metaphor for that."

Because of the ** ROMANCE ** Possibly. Well it might just be because Stephanie's a really good writer whos stories dont let go of the reader till the very end..... wow that was dramatic. Plus vampires and werewolves are AWESOME!
i think kristen explained it pretty well. i agree with her completly.
because of Taylor Lautner well thats why i like it ok i liked it before i knew he was in it but now that he is!
