Hey M Girls!
We have a BRAND NEW celeb advice column on mmm-mag.com. Each day at 8:00 PM/EST we'll post a reader question and have a different star answer it!! Today, we have Boys Like Girls dishing popularity not meaning a thing!
M Reader Littlewolf97 asked:
I don't have many friends and I get picked on a lot. I'm sick of it and I want to change my self-image. What can I do?
And Boy Like Girls' answer is:
"We did our own thing when we were in school. We dressed crazy. We even wore ties to school. We didn't care. We think people in school focus too much on what everyone else thinks. You're true friends are the only thing that matters. When you get out of school, the person you've become is all that matters. Popularity contests mean absolutely nothing. It's just a phase in life! If you can get around that and not care about it, then you're the ultimate cool!"
Don't forget to check back here tomorrow for more celeb advice. And if you've got a question you want a star's help with click here to submit it!

yeah it's not about the quantity of friends you have, it's the quality. honestly, you only need like 1 or 2 really close friends and after high school you're probably not gonna talk to half the people you knew. i know it's hard not to care what people think of you, but just try. and take risks because wouldn't you rather live with taking risks than having regrets?
