I'm a brainy and neat kind of nerd -- I can admit it! I think that everyone thinks I'm weird and I never know how to talk to them without making a big fool of myself! What should I do?
And Adam's answer is:
"When I was in school I didn't really feel like I fit in that well -- I felt like I was kind of weird. I didn't have a set group of friends, so it was always really nerve-wracking going back to school for me. I always tried to look my best and get new clothes. I remember being in school and getting a Banana Republic messenger bag and feeling really metro. But none of that stuff really matters -- I realize that now. You can't be concerned about what others think. You have to be proud of who you are."

he is sooooo right--- be your corny, dorky self! life's all about lettin the world know who u are, not the person u pretend 2 be! don't let other people's thoughts get 2 u, that won't help ur self-esteem @ all. i've been through this, i know how it feels!
I agree. I used to care about what people think, but now I don't. Just be yourself. Feel comfortable with who you are.
being a brainy isn't a terrible thing at all! but the personality thing is what matters...i am really...u can say...popular in my grade. Well there are only 20 kids but i am well liked...and guess what? i have the second highest average...so i am a nerd 2! but because i socialize with other people and act like myself and nobody else...nobody even thinks about my grades..they just think about me!

1 it is about the cloths u have to admit but u can still be popular with out high exspansive ones
2 dont just go right out hi im ------ and by the way im a nerd no u intoduce ur self and dont mentioon ur a nerd just say u like school get good grades
