Star-spangled Mistake

"I tried out to sing the national anthem at our first football game of the year, and I got it! It all went well up to '...that our flag was still there,' but instead of going forward with 'O say, does that star-spangled banner yet wave...' I just repeated the section before it! Everyone realized my mistake around the same time I did, and I wanted to stop singing right then! I couldn't believe I forgot the words, plus, it was a week before school started, so the first impression I gave was not a good one! (If only THEY would forget!)"
