The other day, my BFFs and I were walking around the mall when we spotted my crush and his friends in the food court sitting down to eat lunch. They are a year older than us and go to the same high school that we're going to next year (eek!), so we decided to say hi and get on their good side. They actually ended up being super friendly... until I ruined it. As my crush was telling a story, I thought it'd be great to lean in to show that he had my full attention. Unfortunately, it was an extremely wobbly table, and before I knew it, I was on the laying on the ground and surrounded by all of their uneaten lunches! The guys demanded that I buy them new meals, and when I told them that I didn't have any money, they called me lame and walked away. Needless to say, I am now absolutely dreading going to high school.
