The remake of Footloose was set to start filming this spring with Zac Efron as the lead, but it Zac had a change of heart and has decided against doing another dancing movie (like the HSMs and Hairspray).

Why doesn't Zac want to be in the remake of Footloose.He is such a talented actor.I can't wait till his movie comes into theaters April 17.

I wish he would have but, I understand where he is coming from it kinda like how HSM has affected Vanessa Hudgens and how 7th Heaven has affected those stars, to much of the same thing gets you a rep for that and thats what you are known for. I am not saying he should stop doing dancing movies but he should expand like he said, do some one actions movies.

Umm i think he would be perfect for the role ( i have seen the 1 one with kevin bacon and hes the right one for it ( because of scream in HSM3 ) when me and my friend went to see it the the movies and we seen that part i was like he is like total awsome for that role and i can see no one else for it i cant wait to see 17 again !!

idk i think zac could do a couple more teen roles but i think he should start doing older roles. but i luv zac in the hsm movies!!
