Well, i agree with some people here, a tattoo is permanent and if your in an interview for a job and ...say your like 30 or something and you got a tattoo of like a dragon (random pick) the person interviewing you would judge you right away, and you might not get the job because if it. Like if you got a tattoo when you were 18, you might get a tattoo on your ankle that says " I am hawt" with a rose, but when your 80, thats gonna be really awkward for your possible grandkids to look at. If I ever DID get a tatto, here's what I would do. I would put it some where were people could see if, so if I had a boyfriend and he didn't know about it until he saw it, and then broke up w/me, I would know it's because he's too shallow and doesn't deserve me just because I had a tatto and he didn't like it. It's one of those corny "Yeah, friends forever!" dorky life lessons about loving people for who they are, yada yada yada.
And you know that thingy, you can't change how you are? Well in that case, at least ONE part of u is permanent! for what I'd get it of.........Probably not one of those punk rock-overweight biker kind of things, like a goth black rose, and other things worshipped by the average emo kid. I would put it some where were people could see if, so if I had a boyfriend and he didn't know about it until he saw it, and then broke up w/me, I would know it's because he's too shallow and doesn't deserve me just because I had a tatto and he didn't like it. It's one of those corny "Yeah, friends forever!" dorky life lessons about loving people for who they are, yada yada yada.
And you know that thingy, you can't change how you are? Well in that case, at least ONE part of u is permanent! for what I'd get it of.........Probably not one of those punk rock-overweight biker kind of things, like a goth black rose, and other things worshipped by the average emo kid. Probably something practical, like my name, or a smiley face (Yeah yeah, I know), a puppy, cute little And-they-all-lived-happily-ever-after sort of thing. :) But I probably would'nt because has pointed out on SNL, when you're a old lady with grandkids and a one room apartment in a cheesy retirement home, you won't exactly want to flaunt your 1980's Guns and Roses tatto on your once-buff arm. Bottom line- People will faint when they look at your saggy wrinkly tatto.

I really, really want a tattoo. I already have my cuz designing one for me.(He is an awesome artist) I would never get one of a band, book, or boy. These things can come and go and they prob will. People's thoughts about things change too.
You have to watch where you put tattoos on your body because your skin streches and it will make the tattoo look bad. You have to think about your job also. You should look professional. If you want a tattoo to get removed you have to realize that it will never fully be removed. It shows a color diffrence in your skin tone. It really shows when you get a tan. So think before you do anything. I have and I still am.

Never get a Tramp Stamp (tattoo on your lower back), everybody will be calling you a tramp. i would get a peace sign on the inside of my wrist. My cousin has the same one and she is making me get it when i am 18. My cousin works at Ruby's in Seal Beach, on the peir. She has a sweet voice and she looks like ashley greene (alice cullen from twilight. da) kinda. She is nice. But we are so much alike, she wants us to have the same tattoos. i dont care. I'll get it.
