Hey M Girls!
Growing up, one of my fave book series besides The Babysitter's Club was the Ramona Quimby books -- I loved reading about Ramona's crazy adventures! Well, I have exciting news -- the series is being turned into a movie and it's confirmed that Selena will play Ramona's older, bossy sister Beezus!
Selena blogged about the flick on her MySpace! She wrote:
"I wanted to share with you guys that as soon as I get done here in Puerto Rico, I will be heading off the my second favorite place in the world -- Vancouver, Canada! I spent 3 months there last year [shooting Another Cinderella Story] and now I will be spending another couple of months there shooting Ramona! I can't wait to go back! So, if you live in Canada, I can't wait to see you guys!! Hope you're all doing well! God Bless, Sel."

Oh My Gosh! I used to read the series when I was little! totally cool! however, I'm not sure if Selena's personality is like Bezus'. Good thing she's a good actor.

i like selena but am not going to watch the movie. they should have cast unknowns that would actually fit the roles instead of just hiring selena b/c she's famous. in ramona and beezus, ramona is 4 and beezus is 9..way younger than selena and the girl playing ramona. they don't look anything like sisters either. selena is hispanic and the other girl is blonde. i would rather remember the true stories in my mind than some hollywoodized version.

OMG! I used to read that series all the time. She became my first favorite author like in 1st grade. I think the first one i read was "Ramona the Pest"

ive never read the series, ive heard of it..sounds fimilar. but i do love Selena, im not a huge fan of a lot of disney stars w.o.w.p. is the only sh on there i watch and i love her character Alex, shes halarious and i cant wait to see more of her acting! i also loved her in another cinderella story. and i think she is wicked prettty! i even got my hair cut like hers. i think her style is so unique and cool! she is deff one of my favorite clebs right now. i think she seems down to earth and deff not stuck up! i say good for you Sel i wish you luck in the movie i thhink youll rock it!:)

I LOVE Selena!!! She totally ROCKS!!! She can sing and act. She has also learnt dancing because of the Another Cinderella Story. People said she is great too. She is totally better than Miley!!! She is a good role model. If you hate Selena, I don't really care and I may just think she is not th style you like but she really can sing. My friend is not her fan but she thinks she sing really great. Her songs' style is different from Miley, Ashley, Jonas Brothers and other Disney stars. Try to listen more times and I know you will love them!!! The first time I listen to them, I don't like them at all. I am her totally huge fan since she acts in WOWP so I listen few more times and I totally LOVe them!!!

I use to love reading the Ramona serious. I have like 6 Ramona books from the serious. I think the first one I read was Ramona and her mother.
I think Selena is an awesome actress and that she'll be really good for Beezus' character. I can't wait to see the movie. Is it gonna be like a disney channel one or in theaters though??
