Caught Up

I had just gotten back from the mall. I was super exited to wear this silver bracelet I had just bought. It was gorgeous! It was lined with these small silver leaves that made it perfect to wear for the toga party the Greek Club was having at my school that night. I knew my crush was going to be there that night so I wanted to impress him. Sure enough, I arrive at the school gym and there he is, toga and all! Feeling really confident, I some how round up the courage to ask him for a dance. Everything was going great. We were dancing the night away. All of a sudden, I got really thirsty, so I excused myself for a moment. That's when I realized one of the leaves from my bracelet was caught on his toga! I felt my face begin to turn beet red as I tried to sneakily unhook myself. I began to get frustrated and so I tried just yanking my wrist away. BAD IDEA. Although, my wrist was free, I not only tore his toga, but I also hit a girl who was standing next to me, holding a cup of fruit punch. Let's just say red does not look good on me, especially when my face matches it. The next day at school, I stayed as far away from my crush as possible.
