Personally I do not think that Brenda or Vanessa should play Leah. I do not think that their role in the movie would not be serious enough mainly because they are in Disney Channel movies. 1. She's to old
2. I dont think she looks like the way I pictured Leah
3. Leah should be played be a teenanger, since she's like a teen in the book!

Hmmm.... well, that is suckie. I wanted Brenda as Leah. She would have been perfect. That is the person's side I am choosing. But then again, I don't think either should get the role because they were involved with disney and I don't think the movie is gonna seem right with the fellow disney stars in them. Vanessa is moving from a fellow sweetheart character from HSM3 to a mean girl in New Moon. I don't think Vanessa seems right for the part either, I just hope it is a rumor. But like everyone else I hope that they are right; about how they should get someone not that famous to take on Leah's role because everyone else was like that in the movie. That would have been perfect. I hope that when they choose a Leah they don't base it on her looks, but Stephanie Meyer is so descriptive with her characters. But hopefully they don't change their mind anad choose another disney star. But not that I have anything against it.
