We're happy to report that despite rumors that Taylor was too "babyface" to play werewolf Jacob Black in the upcoming Twilight sequel, New Moon, it was confirmed today that Taylor WILL keep his Jacob role!
Twilight author Stephenie Meyer confirmed on her website, posting the news in a statement from movie director Chris Weitz.
"I'm very happy to announce that Taylor Lautner will be playing Jacob Black in New Moon and that he's doing so with the enthusiastic support of Summit Entertainment, the producers, and Stephenie Meyer," Weitz said.
YAY! The M staff is totes stoked for the New Moon flick now that we get to see our fave boy Tay (and our other hottie Rob Pattinson!). Talk about some major eye candy to look forward to!
