The other night, while my brother had his totally cute friend Matt over, my mom let me stay up to watch American Idol. I decided that I wanted to audition, even though I was too young now. As I took my nighttime shower, I started singing a Mariah Carey song, one with all of her crazy high notes. I didn't sound very good, but I figured I had years of practice ahead of me, and I didn't think anyone had heard me. After I put on my pajamas, I left the bathroom, only to find my brother and Matt laying on the floor laughing. I asked them what was so funny, and they started yelling like wounded cats. I realized that they were making fun of my singing, and I turned bright red! It was the most embarrassing thing that ever happened to me!
